The first Hurricane Bill of the 2009 Atlantic hurricane season is an event in the annual cycle of tropical cyclone formation. This season started on June 1 and will end on November 30. Tropical Storm Bill’s projected path was the Gulf but suddenly Claudette has formed pushing right pass Tropical Storm Bill.

On August 15, 2009, both Tropical Storm Ana and Tropical Storm Bill developed in the relative vicinity of the Cape Verde Islands. According to ABC News, The Atlantic hurricane season of this year, A quick-forming tropical storm blew into the Florida Panhandle on Monday and quickly lost steam, took shape over the open ocean on a track for Bermuda.
