Michael Vick Press Conference

The Philadelphia Daily News paper published an article by Philadelphia Inquirer Sports columnist Phil Sheridan in which they bash A former football quarterback player Michael Vick. Sheridan says that Vick is not worth the trouble for the Eagles.

Yesterday, On August 13, 2009, Michael Vick signed a two year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles team. He will earn $1.6 million in his first year and $5 million in his second year. Vick will be able to participate in all team practices and meetings, as well as the Eagles last two preseason games. He will be eligible for reinstatement in week six at the latest.


Andy Reid, coach of Philadelphia Eagles thinks he has PETA support, but PETA has said the following statement:

“PETA and millions of decent football fans around the world are disappointed that the Eagles decided to sign a guy who hung dogs from trees.

“He electrocuted them with jumper cables and held them under water. You have to wonder what sort of message this sends to young fans who care about animals and don’t want them to be harmed.”
