Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and his helicopter is missing for five hours on today morning. Home Ministry sources said there had been no contact yet with the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister or his pilot. Recent news, The Andhra Police chief, who said the chief minister had landed safely in Andhra's Kurnool district.
Karnool SP B L Meena confirmed at 3.10 p.m that the AP CM has just been located and a police team is going to escort him back. The government chopper with AP Chief Minister on board took off at 8.45 AM and was scheduled to land at Chitoor district at 10.40 AM. However, it soon lost radio contact for bad weather condition.
State DGP S.S.P Yadav and Intelligence Chief Aravinda Rao and Chief Secretary Ramakanth Reddy are supervising the operations to trace the missing chopper with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister. But, most of the AP news says " AP CM is safe".
