Cash for Clunkers Program Suspended

The Cash for Clunkers Program suspended has been confirmed as U.S. federal transportation. On July 30, Thursday The White House said Cash for Clunkers program amid concerns the $1 billion budget for rebates for new auto purchases may have been exhausted in only a week. The program suspended starting on Friday midnight, July 31.

The CAR Allowance Rebate System (CARS) is a $1 billion government program. The CARS program offers owners of old cars and trucks $3,500 or $4,500 toward a new, more fuel-efficient vehicle.

According Yahoo News, "We are working tonight to assess the situation facing what is obviously an incredibly popular program," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said of the Car Allowance Rebate System. "Auto dealers and consumers should have confidence that all valid CARS transactions that have taken place to date will be honored."

Bruce Rossmeyer Died in Motorcycle Accident

America’s largest Harley Davidson dealer Bruce Rossmeyer was killed today in an motorcycle accident in Wyoming, sources confirmed. Rossmeyer was riding with a group of five motorcyclists on his way to the Sturgis motorcycle rally in South Dakota. He was the last in line and was killed when the SUV turned left in front of him.

The Department of Transportation's official Secretary Ray LaHood had to make the media rounds talking about how the program will change driving as we know it. Auto dealers are saying that most number of people wishing to change there older vehicle for new ones.

Cash for Clunkers Program by providing a $4,500 voucher to Car/truck Owners, whose present car gets less than 18 miles per gallon in fuel efficiency. Car Drivers who buy a car with a 10 MPG improvement over their previous car qualify for the entire $4,500 voucher, while those who choose a car with a 4 MPG improvement qualify for a $3,500 voucher.

The program official name - The CAR Allowance Rebate System (CARS) is a $1 billion founded by thr U.S. government program that helps consumers buy or lease a more environmentally-friendly vehicle from a participating dealer when they trade in a less fuel-efficient car or truck.

Important Things:

• Vehicle must be less than 25 years old on the trade-in date.
• Only purchase or lease of new vehicles qualify.
• Generally, trade-in vehicles must get 18 or less MPG. (some very large pick-up trucks and cargo vans have different requirements)
• Trade-in vehicles must be registered and insured continuously for the full year preceding the trade-in.
• You don't need a voucher, dealers will apply a credit at purchase.

Dog Takes Baby From Crib Video - Native American Indian Dog

A Native American Indian Family Dog drags baby from crib and took it out to the woods in Kentucky. A new baby boy, 4-day-old was eventually found in the woods 150 feet away from home with cuts and puncture wounds to his torso and face. The baby family's beloved dog dragged him from his crib.

The baby Alexander James Smith was rushed to the emergency room at University of Kentucky Hospital in Lexington, where he was currently in critical condition.



“They took us straight to a consulting room with a pastor and gave us pretty much what was the last visitation,” The baby father Michael Smith said in The Associated Press.
